Also known as hydatid disease, it is a parasitic disease that can affect humans and other mammals such as sheep, dogs, mice and horses. Three different forms of echinococcosis are found in humans, each caused by the larvae of a different species of Echinococcus granulosus tapeworm. The first of the diseases to be found in humans was cystic echinococcosis (also known as cystic echinococcosis), caused by Echinococcus granulosus (scientific name: Echinococcus granulosus). The second place is alveolar echinococcosis (also known as alveolar echinococcosis), which is caused by follicular echinococcosis (scientific name: Echinococcus multilocularis). After the onset, the patient's symptoms and signs depend on the location and size of the echinococcosis. Alveolar echinococcosis usually starts in the liver, but may later spread to other sites, such as the lungs and brain. After liver lesions develop, patients' clinical signs may include abdominal pain, weight loss, and jaundice. Lung lesions that may cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and coughing

This kit use indirect ELISA method, pured HYD antigen is pre-coated on enzyme micro-well strips. When testing, add diluted serum sample, after incubation, if there is HYD virus specific antibody, it will combine with the pre-coated antigen, discard the uncombined antibody and other components with washing; then add enzyme conjugate, discard the uncombined enzyme conjugate with washing. Add TMB substrate in micro-wells, the blue signal by Enzyme catalysis is directly proportion of antibody content in sample.
